INVITATION TO BID City of New Haven, CT AIP Project No. 3-09-0013-xxx-2021 New Haven, Tweed-New Haven Airport Sealed Bids for Realignment of Taxiways A, F and G and Drainage Ditch Maintenance at the Tweed-New Haven Airport will ONLY be received and accepted via online electronic bid service through https://www.questcdn.com until 2:00 PM, April 8, 2021 local time and at such time will be opened online. The 5-day lead time is required in case the bid opening time changes. The project realigns a portion of Taxiway A, F and G to meet current FAA airport design standards, the construction of approximately 2200 feet of new taxiway pavements, 4200 SY of new apron pavement, the maintenance of approximately 2850 linear feet of ditch maintenance, three culvert crossing replacements, associated drainage, lighting, signage and markings. All interested bidders are requested to attend in order to prepare acceptable bid submissions. Prospective bidders are asked to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed in order to comply with FAA regulations. Prospective bidders will be asked to provide this information at time of plan purchase. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Provisions. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
