GAS FIRED HEATERS (BLOOMSBURG
AIRPORT)
The Town of Bloomsburg gives notice that it will receive sealed bids for the installation of LP gas fired, infrared tube heaters and gas fired unit heaters needed to replace the existing coal fired steam system located at the Bloomsburg Municipal Airport.
The successful bidder will furnish and install all LP gas heaters as per the bid documents per manufacturers specifications, including gas piping, sized for future natural gas, from LP tank and regulator supplied by others, to all tube and unit heaters, electrical required, seven programmable thermostats, flue piping as required and all hangers and supports needed to properly complete the installations. Bids will not include complete removal of the coal fired steam system but will include removal and proper disposal of any portion of the present system needed to complete the new heater installations.
Prospective bidders can contact John Fritz at (570) 204-9757 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for a walk-through of the project areas and a copy of the bid documents.
Bidders shall submit their bids in a sealed envelope and shall indicate on the face of the envelope: “Bloomsburg Airport Heating Project Bid.”
Bids will be received at Town Hall, 301 E. 2nd Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 up to but no later than February 10th at 3 p.m. at which time the bid opening will take place.
Bids may be held by the Town for up to 60 days from the opening and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
