INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals will be received by the Rush Township Board of Supervisors for the Design Build – Municipal Services Shell Building. Bids will be received at the Rush Township Municipal Building, 104 Mahanoy Avenue, Tamaqua, PA 18252, until 4:00 p.m. on March 17, 2022. Bids will be opened and public read aloud at regular Rush Township Supervisors meeting to be held on March 17, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Contract Documents for the Work are on file at the office of the Engineer, ARRO Consulting, Inc., 1239 Centre Turnpike, Orwigsburg, PA 17961 (570) 366-9534 and can be obtained electronically free of charge by calling (570) 366-9534 during regular business hours or via email request to traci.firing@ arroconsulting.com. All questions pertaining to the contract documents should be directed to the office of the ENGINEER. The Work generally consists of furnishing a design and all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to the construction of a 60′ x 100′ pole building on the property of Rush Township. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements. Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Rush Township reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
