INVITATION TO BID The City of Shamokin will receive sealed bids at its Office, 47 E. Lincoln Street, Shamokin, Pennsylvania 17872, until 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021. All sealed bids received prior to the set deadline will be opened publicly and reviewed at the workshop meeting that evening at 6 p.m.. Bids will be tabulated, reviewed, and presented for award at the regular monthly public council meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. May 10, 2021 in the Public Meeting room, Mill Square Building, 511 N. Franklin Street, (side entrance), Shamokin, PA 17872. Bids will be received for the following work: American Legion General Construction American Legion Electrical Construction American Legion Plumbing Construction Engineer: Catino Associates, Inc. 802 North Sixth Street Shamokin, PA 17872, (570) 486-9396 Contract documents are on file and may be reviewed at City Hall, 47 E Lincoln St., Shamokin, PA 17872. Copies of the contract documents may be secured by contacting the Engineer at 570-486 9396. Electronic copies of documents will be made available to registered bidders only. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less that ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Shamokin. Each bid shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days. The City of Shamokin reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
