INVITATION TO RECEIVE PROPOSALS MOLD REMEDIATION PROJECT
DYER TOWN HALL
The Town Council of the Town of Dyer, Indiana will receive sealed proposals for the remediation of mold at the Town Hall located at One Town Square, Dyer, Indiana, until 10:00 AM (local time) on Monday, August 9th, 2021.
Proposals will be accepted at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Dyer Town Hall, One Town Square, Dyer, Indiana, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Any proposals received later than the above time will be returned unopened.
The Town has engaged the environmental consulting firm AMERECO, Inc., to perform a Mold Assessment of the facility. The assessment report is available digitally and can be sent upon request. Contractors shall submit in their proposals the methods to be used to remediate the areas indicated in the report that require attention. The contractor will submit in their proposals what assistance will be required of the Town to move furniture, equipment, etc.
There will be a pre-bid site visit of the facility on July 28th at 1:00 PM.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Surety in the amount of 5% of the contractors bid. The Surety may be in the form of a cashiers check payable to the Town of Dyer. Forms of Surety will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the bid is awarded.
The successful bidder will be required to be a registered contractor with the Town of Dyer, including having a Unified Lake County Contractors Bond posted.
