INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Bids, will be received and addressed to Ms. Josette Dobbins,
Director of Purchasing, Ector County ISD, Administration Building
(Purchasing Department), 802 N. Sam Houston, Odessa Texas, 79761.
Bids will be received and stamped up to and not later than:
Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM, Central Standard Time
Bids will then be opened and read aloud at the ECISD Administration
Building, 3rd Floor – Conference Room A/B, 802 N. Sam Houston, Odessa,
Texas. Bidders will be expected to study and comply with the provisions
of the Project Manual. Any proposals received after the deadline will be
returned to the sender.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept the lowest or any Bid
and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal. No Bids
may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the Bid opening.
Bidders may obtain Electronic Contract Documents from the Owner or
Consultant beginning Wednesday, April 11, 2021.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the ECISD Administration Building, 1st
Floor – Board Room, 802 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, Texas on Thursday,
April 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM CST.
Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check
in a sum not less than 5% of the maximum bid, payable to the Owner, with
the understanding that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will, within 10 days
enter into a contract and give acceptable Surety Company Performance
and Labor and Material Bonds, in the full amount of the contract for such
work.
Bids may not be withdrawn after the bid opening for at least 30 days, or
until Notice of Award or rejection of bid has been received.
