PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Pocono Township Board of Commissioners until 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, PA 18372 for the paving of various roads for the following: 4,165 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course, 120 lb/sy 10,247 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course, 180 lb/sy 44,931 LF of 4″ Double Yellow Center Line 89,862 LF of 4″ Single White Edge Line Bids should be clearly marked “2021 Road Paving Bid Proposal for Letting of May 3, 2021.” All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Pocono Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling (570)-629-1922, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Pocono Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. PA Prevailing Wage applies to the 2021 Road Paving Bid Proposal for Letting of May 3, 2021. All bids will be opened publicly and read at approximately 2:15 p.m. Friday April 30, 2021 at the Township Building. The bids will be presented to the Township Commissioners at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 3, 2021 at approximately 7 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Pocono Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
