TOWNSHIP OF CHESTER DELAWARE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Township of Chester, Delaware County will begin soliciting sealed bids for the: 2022 TRASH COLLECTION At the Office of the Township Manager, 1150 Engle Street, Chester Twp., PA 19013 until 2:00 P.M., local time on January 25TH, 2022. All bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. Bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Owner and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least 10 % of the total bid price made payable to the Township of Chester. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All bids must be sealed and addressed to the Township Manager, 1150 Engle Street, Chester Twp., PA 19013, and be plainly marked “2022 Trash Collectionâ€? on the envelope. Specifications and bidding sheets may be obtained from the Township Manager, 1150 Engle Street, Chester Twp., PA 19013, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
