NOTICE TO BIDDERS CLIFTON HEIGHTS BOROUGH, DELAWARE COUNTY, PA Sealed proposals will be received by Clifton Heights Borough, Delaware County until 10:00 A.M Tuesday, September 21, 2021 for the 2021 Road Improvement Program. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The re-advertisement of this project is to allow for the inclusion of additional work. The project is comprised of an approximate total of the following items: 425 Tons of Superpave Mixture Base Repair 4,405 SY of Milling 5,910 SY of Superpave Mixture Wearing Course Overlay Specifications and bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the Boroughâs Engineer, Kelly & Close Engineers, The Summit at Brandywine, 1786 Wilmington West Chester Pike / Suite 300, Glen Mills, PA 19342, upon deposit of $35.00 per set, which is non-refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid payable to the Borough of Clifton Heights. The bid must be on the forms furnished in the package and enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside with the Bidders Company name and â2021 Road Improvement Programâ? and addressed to the Borough at the above address. Notice is hereby given to the requirements contained in this Bid Package particularly to the various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond, performance bond and maintenance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Borough.
