REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The Kennett Area Park Authority (KAPA) will be accepting RFPs for Historic Water Works Buildings Schematic Architectural Design Services. The project area is located in Anson B. Nixon Park, the Borough of Kennett Square, Chester County, Pennsylvania, owned and maintained by KAPA. Work will include major engineering, architectural, and mechanical upgrades to three historic buildings, which formerly served as the Water Works facility in the Borough of Kennett Square. Details about the Request for Proposal can be obtained beginning on Friday, September 17, 2021 and are available at https://www.ansonbnixonpark.org/kapa-news/ on the Anson B. Nixon Park website. A mandatory site meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the project site (Anson B. Nixon Park). Proposals can be mailed in advance to KAPA, PO Box 1121, Kennett Square, PA 19348 or dropped off in person between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday at Borough Hall, The Borough of Kennett Square, located at 120 Marshall Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
