NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for FB-Modified Leveling Course (approximately 22,000 SY). Double Bituminous Sealcoat (approximately 22,000 SY), FB-3 Wearing Course (approximately 6,300 SY), Single Chip Seal (approximately 6,300 SY), and Fog Seal (approximately 6,300 SY) will be received by Bridgeton Township electronically via the PennBid System until 10:00 AM on February 3, 2022. Specifications and forms for proposal may be obtained or examined on the internet at www.pennbid.net (or https://pennbid.procureware.com) at no cost. (Contractors must register in accordance with the PennBid requirements). The successful bidder is required to pay fees established by PennBid equal to 1/3% of the awarded bid total. Bids will be reviewed and made publicly available at 10:00 AM on February 3, 2022. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via PennBid) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; Anti-Collusion Affidavit; Workman’s Compensation Affidavit; and Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program) certification. All information must be submitted via the PennBid Program. Special attention is called to the fact that the Prevailing Wage Act 442 applies. Successful bidder shall pay no less than the prevailing wage rate determined for the project as set forth in the Proposal/ Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance, payment, and maintenance bonds as applicable, in accordance with the specifications, with a corporate surety approved by the Township. Bridgeton Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids and waive all informalities.
