NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bid Proposal for 2021 Eddington Area Curb Replacement Project TOWNSHIP OF BENSALEM 2400 Byberry Road Bensalem, PA 19020 Sealed proposals will be received at the Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM, same day, for the following: CURB REPLACEMENT STORM INLET ADJUSTMENTS PAVEMENT ADJUSTMENTS PennDOT Form 408 Sections, 409, 469, 491, 605, 606, 630, 702, 703, 720, 804, 805, 901, 902 As Amended Responsible Contractor Certification Forms, Specifications, bid proposal forms, contract form and instructions to bidders may be obtained at the Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Questions should be directed to the Township Engineer. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid and made payable to Bensalem Township, PA. Prevailing wages apply to this contract. The successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked on the outside “BID PROPOSAL FOR 2021 EDDINGTON CURB REPLACEMENT PROJECT”. Bensalem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or take such action as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law.
