REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE USE OF THE WESTBOUND COMMUTER RAIL STATION MILFORD TRANSIT DISTRICT January 25, 2023 Public Notice Advertisement The Milford Transit District (MTD) currently leases the Westbound Commuter Waiting Station on Railroad Avenue at the Milford stop on the Metro-North/New Haven line from the State of Connecticut. The Milford Transit District is requesting proposals for operation of the Westbound Commuter Waiting Station at the Milford stop on the Metro North / New Haven Line at Railroad Avenue in Milford, CT. Details of what is expected to be included in the proposal can be obtained by contacting Henry Jadach at 203-874-4507. Purpose of the Station The main purpose of the station is to provide a convenient and comfortable amenity for the traveling public with a climate-controlled waiting space, clean and functioning restrooms, and the availability of conveniences that the train rider would look to purchase.
