INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Proposals will be received by: Valley Township of Montour County, PA at 29 Indian Run Road, Danville, PA until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 to be opened on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Valley Township Municipal Building for the following contracts:
Seal Contract:
Furnish and place approximately 22,321 SY of Asphalt Seal Coat and 22,321 SY Asphalt Fog Seal.
Scratch Contract:
Furnish and place approximately 767 Ton Asphalt Wearing Course, Scratch.
Binder Contract:
Furnish and place approximately 952 Ton Asphalt Binder Course.
Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker’s compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder.
Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders.
All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
