SELCO TRANSFER BID

INVITATION FOR BIDS Shrewsbury Electric & Cable Operations (SELCO) PadMount Distribution Transformers Notice is hereby given that Shrewsbury Electric & Cable Operations invites suppliers of Electric Distribution transformers to bid on single and 3-phase 13,800kV primary, ranging from 25kVA thru 750kVA. Bids will be received by the Town of Shrewsbury at the Town Manager’s office, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts 01545 until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at which place and time said bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids must be received in triplicate in a sealed envelope marked “BID for PadMount Transformers, SELCO”. This bid is for procurement of material only. The equipment furnished under this bid shall be manufactured in the United States of America. The bid documents may be examined and obtained at the Offices of Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts 01545 during normal weekday business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Bid documents may also be obtained via email. Send email request to KRyba@shrewsburyma.gov with “SELCO Transformer BID” in the subject line. All bids must be made on the Bid Form provided in the specifications, unless additional space is required for terms and conditions or technical deviations, in which case, a supplementary sheet on bidder’s letterhead or quotation form may be used, and shall become a part of the Bid Form. Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations specifically reserves the right to reject any bid not made on the form provided, to waive any irregularity or informality, to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations and the Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
