The Massachusetts State College Building Authority 10 High St., Suite 201, Boston, MA 02110 Requests qualification statements from firms interested in bidding on trade contractor work on the Companies 1-6 Renovations, at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Project No.: MMA-0916-21. Responses from eligible trade contractors will be used to prequalify the trade contractors to participate in response to a request for bids that will be issued by the Authority. This project incorporates the requirements set forth in Chapter 149a. Responses Due: Wednesday, March 03, 2021 at 2:00PM. General Scope of Work: The project is the first phase of renovations of a six-year renovation plan for the Company residence halls at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. This first phase will renovate Company 1, and will include perimeter base board heat within the Cadet bedrooms, replacement of resilient floor tile throughout, painting of walls and ceilings, replacement of acoustic ceiling tiles and lighting. This first phase of construction is planned to start in May of 2021 and will last through the end of August 2021. Future scope to be determined.
