INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Town Administrator, 3 Washburn Square, Leicester, MA 01524 on August 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for the following: Removal of existing Basketball/Tennis Courts/Parking area at Towtaid Park Construction of one (1) 5,768 sf Basketball Court Construction of one (1) 5,280 sf Pickleball Court Repaving of one (1) 3,920 sf parking area Installation of 530 ft of 8′ galvanized chain link fence They will be opened publicly at that time. Specifications and all other bid documents may be obtained at the Office of the Town Administrator or by email at forsbergk@leicesterma.org Bids shall be addressed to the Town of Leicester and should be submitted in the form specified, in a sealed envelope endorsed “Bid Proposal Towtaid Basketball/Pickleball Courts” the title of the bid with the bidder’s name and address. Each bidder shall enclose with the bid an acceptable bid bond or bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid’s value on the form specified. Successful bidder will be required to provide a 50% payment bond for the project. The Town of Leicester reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to make the award as appears to the best interests of the Town.
