893218 NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF GROTON, CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF UTILITIES CONSTRUCTION OF 16[”] WATER MAIN CROSSING OF POQUETANUCK COVE BRIDGE AND APPURTENANT WORK GROTON, CONNECTICUT Contract W20-Q-19 The City of Groton, Department of Utilities is requesting formal bids to furnish and install approximately 1,250 lineal feet of new 16-in. water main piping, connection to existing water mains, including all testing, sanitizing and surface restoration. Watermain construction is to be complete including 16-, 12- and 8-in. watermains, valves, hydrant assemblies, water service laterals, meter pit, SCADA equipment, pavement restoration, loaming and seeding and safety signing and controls. Sealed Bids for the above work will be received at the office of the Department of Utilities, 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut 06340 until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on June 10, 2021 at which place and time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Copies of the Contract Documents and Contract Plans may be obtained as follows: a.
