NOTICE TO BIDDERS UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, DELAWARE COUNTY Proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by Upper Providence Township, Delaware County until 10:00 A.M. (local time) Monday October 11, 2021, for the Andrew Circle Storm Sewer Improvement Project. This project consists of: – Remove and replacement of an existing deteriorated storm sewer inlet and 30-inch corrugated metal piping; – Restoration of a subsidence – Add Alternate: Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Contractor who has been successfully awarded the contract shall complete work within sixty (60) days from the Notice to Proceed. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to this contract and that the successful bidder shall pay no less than the wage rates determined for the project area as set forth in the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
