LEGAL NOTICE – LOWER FREDERICK TOWNSHIP Notice is hereby given that the Lower Frederick Township Board of Supervisors adopted the following Resolution on February 22, 2022. This Resolution is being advertised in accordance with Section 2503 of the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code. RESOLUTION NO. 2022R-14 Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County, PA A RESOLUTION OF LOWER FREDERICK TOWNSHIP AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FULMER ROAD COLLECTION SYSTEM EXTENSION PURSUANT TO SECTION 2503 OF THE PENNSYLVANIA SECOND CLASS TOWNSHIP CODE. WHEREAS, Lower Frederick Township (“Townshipâ€?) issued an Invitation to Bid on December 5, 2021 concerning the Fulmer Road Collection System Extension (“Projectâ€?) and opened the received bids on the Project on January 18, 2022; and WHEREAS, the Project consists of the construction and installation of an extension of the Township’s existing sewer system and related work; and WHEREAS, the Township Board of Supervisors has on the date listed below awarded the contract for the Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as required by and in accordance with Pennsylvania Law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Lower Frederick Township Board of Supervisors that the construction of the Project is hereby authorized in accordance with Section 2503 of the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code (53 P.S. §67503). FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the Township Staff are hereby directed to advertise this Resolution in a newspaper of general circulation once a week for three successive weeks as required by the aforementioned Section 2503.
