ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BLYTHE TOWNSHIP SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY SAINT CLAIR, PENNSYLVANIA LITTER FENCE General Notice Blythe Township Solid Waste Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following Project: Litter Fence The work includes supply and installation of approximately 780 lineal feet of litter fence. Bids for the Project will be received at the Blythe Recycling and Demolition Site (BRADS) Landfill located at 1061 Burma Road, Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, 17970 until October 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Maintenance Shop. Bidders should be aware that the U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to this physical address. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Pre-bid Conference An optional pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on September 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the BRADS Landfill Maintenance Shop located at 1061 Burma Road, Saint Clair, Pennsylvania 17970. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is optional. Instructions to Bidders. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. Award of the Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities permitted by law.
