NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to I.C. 5-22-9-3, that Sealed Proposals for the provision of contract services regarding the City of East Chicago Department of Parks & Recreation Contract for Maintenance of MacArthur Golf Course will be received by the City of East Chicago Department of Parks & Recreation (“ECDPR”), at its main office located at 1615 E. 142nd St., East Chicago, IN 46312, until 12:00 NOON local time on FEBRUARY 10, 2023. Any Proposal received after the designated time will be returned to the Proposer unopened. The Proposal should be submitted and clearly marked in the manner set forth in the Request for Proposals, and shall contain all required information as set forth in the Request for Proposals. Incomplete Proposals shall be deemed non-responsive and shall be immediately rejected.

In general, the Services consist of seasonal maintenance of the MacArthur Golf Course. Further information regarding the scope and nature of the Services may be found in the Specifications contained within the Request for Proposals.

Copies of the Request for Proposals will be made available at or after 12:00 NOON local time on January 27, 2023 at the ECDPR Main Office located at 1615 E. 142nd St., East Chicago, IN 46312, and may be obtained from that location free of charge. Copies of the Request for Proposals may also be requested by directing an email to gjones@eastchicago.com, with copy to vhdezorange@eastchicago.com.

Proposers are hereby notified that the anticipated date for commencement of Services by the successful proposer is on or prior to March 15, 2023. Additionally, Proposers are hereby notified that the Request for Proposals contains several alternatives for consideration by Proposers, and that ECDPR reserves the right to reject all proposals submitted if none are found to be suitable.
