LEGAL NOTICE

All persons liable to pay property taxes in the Town of North Stonington are hereby notified that the second installment of REAL ESTATE, MOTOR VEHICLE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY taxes laid on the Grand List of 2021 are due and payable on January 1, 2023. Notice is also given of a Supplement Motor Vehicle tax for motor vehicles registered after October 2, 2021. Said taxes will be due in full on January 1, 2023. If payment is not received or post marked by February 1, 2023, taxes will become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month from the due date. Minimum interest charge is $2.00.
FAILURE TO RECEIVE A BILL DOES NOT INVALIDATE THE TAX OR INTEREST.
Make your payments at the North Stonington Town Hall between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:30
pm Monday thru Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 pm. Payments can also be made by mail, online at www.mytaxbill.net/northstonington, with a small vendor fee, or dropped in the secured drop box outside the Town Hall at 40 Main Street, North Stonington, CT.
