NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE OF ASSET FORFEITURE, UNCLAIMED AND MISCELLANEOUS SURPLUS PROPERTY OF THE TOWN OF GRIFFITH METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Griffith, Lake County, Indiana, and all other interested persons that the Town of Griffith through its Town Council, acting under its authority as the Board of Public Works of the municipality, has found and declared certain property as no longer needed or unfit for the purposes originally acquired. The Town Safety Board has found and declared certain items as unclaimed or forfeited property. The Town Council and the Town Safety Board has authorized the sale and disposal of this property pursuant to the provisions of IC 5-22-22 et seq.

The Town of Griffith will conduct public sales of this surplus property, to-wit:

A 2013 Dodge Charger 5.9L with approximately 64,431 miles in fair condition at https://www.govdeals.com/l

A 1998 Isuzu Rodeo with approximately 129,495 miles in poor condition at https://www.govdeals.com/l

The sale will commence approximately 15 days after the first posting of this notice.

All sales will be by public sale to the highest bidder unless a minimum bid has been established for an item. All sales will be in “AS IS” condition with no warranty implied or expressed.
