ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the Canal Park Improvements will be received, by Danville Borough, at the office of the Danville Borough, 463 Mill Street Danville, PA 17821, until 3:00 pm local time on August 10th at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The work includes but is not limited to the following excavation, demolition, stormwater, concrete sidewalk, and ramp, pavers, stage construction, and site restoration located at 436 Mill Street, Danville, PA. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a Unit Price Basis. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained via email, free of charge, by contacting Kate Spickard with LIVIC Civil at kspickard@livicco.com. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Danville Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any bid item, and to award the contract as may be deemed to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The Bidder’s attention is called to the fact that this contract is subject to all applicable provisions of the State Prevailing Wage Act, and the bid shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage determinations are included in the contract documents.
