INVITATION TO BIDDERS Electronic proposals will be received by the City of Scranton Controllers Office via online submissions to the digital drop box https://www.drop box.com/request/LbFn7sE9x3FM0slJtVyR until October 25, 2021 at 10:00 am which time such proposals will be opened live on www.youtube. com/user/electriccitytv570 for the following: CITY OF SCRANTON Office of Community Development Demolition of Hazardous Structures Nay Aug Pool and Pump House Online Drop Box proposals will be received and identified by “Company name- Demolition of Hazardous Structures Project Nay Aug Pool and Pump House.” The proposals should be downloaded to the following drop box link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/LbFn7sE9x3FM0slJtVyR A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on site on October 18, 2021 at 10am. All bidders are required to have a representative present at this conference. Only those represented at the pre-bid conference will be able to submit a bid. Work is to be performed in accordance with the Specifications Book which can be obtained digitally by request from Miranda Pace at mpace@scrantonpa.gov. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P.S. ^ 165-1 et seq.; 34 Pa. Code ^ 9.101 et seq.) is applicable to this project.
