To be published in the Odessa American on Friday, January 14, 2022 and Friday, January 21, 2022
Ector County will accept sealed Bids for the following: Cottonwood Road
Phase II ( Bid #: 22-02-08-02)
The bids will be awarded on the basis of lowest bid to the most responsible
bidder.
The bonds required for these bids shall be the following: 1.) Bid Bond of 5%
of the total bid price in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or a surety
bond; and 2.) Performance and Payment Bonds which shall cover 100% of
the total sum from a Surety company, authorized to do business in the State
of Texas.
Payment will be made in accordance with Chapter 2251, Texas Government Code.
Additional bid sheets and specifications may be obtained at the Ector County
Purchasing Department, 1010 E. 8th Street, Room 110, Odessa, Texas
79761; or on the Ector County website http://www.co.ector.tx.us/page/ector.
Bids; or upon request email lucy.soto@ectorcountytx.gov. Copies of the plans
and specifications may be secured from the office of LCA, 521 N. Texas Ave,
Odessa, Texas 79761, for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set.
The Ector County Commissioners’ Court reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all bids. The County of Ector does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, national origin, sex, age and disability in employment or the provision of
services.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 P.M. (CST) on Wednesday,
January 26, 2022 at the intersection of US Hwy 385 & Cottonwood Road.
Sealed bids must be sent to the attention of the Ector County Purchasing
Agent, Lucy Soto, 1010 E. 8th Street, Room 110, Odessa, Texas 79761, on or
before 2:00 P.M. (CST), February 8, 2022.
The bids will be opened on the same date at 2:00 P.M. in the Commissioners’
Courtroom, #120, Ector County Courthouse Annex, 1010 E. 8th Street,
Odessa, Texas 79761.
