NOTICE TO BIDDERS Lower Southampton Township is accepting sealed bids online for the Retrofitting of the PA Boulevard and Brookside Detention Basins. The project includes the furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, tools and services for the improvements to existing stormwater facilities. Bidders will be requested to provide bids as follows: Pennsylvania Boulevard and Brookside Drive Detention Basin Retrofit Improvements . The work will entail work to construct improvements to two existing stormwater management facilities which includes, but is not limited to, clearing, excavation, grading, providing erosion and sedimentation control, native plantings and seeding. Sealed bids shall be received electronically via the PennBid website: www.PennBid.net, until the time of opening at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost on the PennBid website. Click “Solicitations” and then click the “RESPONSE”. The bids will be publicly opened on the PennBid website shortly after the bid closing on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 and available at the Lower Southampton Township Administration Building, 1500 Desire Avenue Feasterville, PA 19053 for inspection on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. The successful bidder is required to submit performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount within 10 days after the contract is awarded. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate Act and Lower Southampton Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance shall apply to this project. Employment eligibility is required thru the Department of Homeland Security E-Verify system. The Bidder shall satisfy the Township that it and any subcontractors have the particular skills for the type of work involved and have established a successful performance record of completed SWM facility site work.
