2021 Town Wide Street Resurfacing and Repair Program
TOWN OF MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA
The Town of Merrillville, Indiana will receive bids for the 2021 Town Wide Street Resurfacing and Repair Program in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. Bids will be received until 12:00 PM. local time on Friday, March 19th, 2021 in the Clerk-Treasurers Office, Municipal Complex, 7820 Broadway Street, Merrillville, IN 46410. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened. All bids will be opened and publicly read at 12:01PM in the Municipal Complex Council Chambers.
The Municipal Complex is only open between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM; however, there is a secure drop box at Municipal Complex entry way where bids may be left up until the time of opening.
Contract documents are on file electronically and may be ordered via email by contacting the email address reladministrative@reltd.com. Hard copies may also be requested and mailed overnight to bidders at no charge.
The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and provided in an envelope labeled 2021 Town Wide Street Resurfacing and Repair Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier’s or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder’s bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Merrillville, Indiana.
The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations.
The Town of Merrillville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded at the Town of Merrillville council meeting on April 6th, 2021.
