Zelenskyy Arrives At White House, Patriot Air Defense Systems Approved

Washington, D.C. – Ukraine President Zelenskyy has arrived at the White House moments ago. The visit comes on the heels of a recent uptick of attacks on Ukraine from Russia as Putin weaponizes the winter cold.  Putin looks to collaborate with Belarus as he made special military trip this week to boost defenses and has been using Iran supplied drones in most recent attacks.

Zelenskyy is expected to meet with Congress this evening after his trip to the White House. Billions of dollars in aid is being appropriated and the military has recently approved the transfer of Patriot Air Defense Systems that Ukraine has been requesting since the start of the war.
