PUBLIC NOTICE: Request for Qualifications for Engineering Service for Bus Shelter Project The City of South Padre Island is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) until Thursday, March 24, 2022, @ 2:00 pm, for experienced firms to provide engineering services to design blueprints for the construction of 18 individual bus shelters. The selected consultant will need to provide surveying, engineering, and design services for the construction/installation of these shelters. The designs will include Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulation access and windstorm certification. The RFQ packet is available on the city’s website at www.myspi.org. Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) are due by 2:00 pm on March 24th, 2022, after which all qualified responses will be opened and acknowledged at 4601 Padre Boulevard South Padre Island, Texas 78597. Any SOQs received after the specified deadline will be returned unopened. Sealed SOQs must be marked with the RFQ number (2022-TD01), the title (Engineering Service for Bus Shelter Project), and addressed to the City of South Padre Island-City Secretary.
